Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect the day of my photo shoot?
-When we show up you can expect a few minutes for introductions. We will ask some questions about both you & your horse to get to know you a little bit. We will briefly discuss your thoughts for the session & if you have anything specific you would like to get photos of. We always start with bareback, halter & horses at liberty photos first so please do not have your horse tacked up before we arrive unless you only want under saddle photos. This helps prevent unsightly sweat marks that never look good in photos. We then move on to under saddle photos. Once the hour is up, we will give you all the information you need to find your photos on our website.

How should I prepare my horse for the photo shoot?
- A well groomed horse always looks better in photos. Some people simply brush off their horse before we arrive, others go all out and bath, braid/pull manes, apply hoof polish, etc. It's entirely up to you. We do ask however that unless you want photos of you grooming your horse, that you already have your horse caught & groomed before we arrive.

What should I wear?
-Your outfit choice will play a heavy role in what you end up thinking of your final photos. You want to be sure to wear colors that complement your horse. For example, If you have a white horse, a white shirt is probably not the best idea. Also, if you plan on doing photos around a treeline where there is a lot of foliage, green shirts are not recommended either.

I am a trainer/instructor/farrier/vet, do I need any special preparations?
- Please just be sure that your clients, students & patients are aware that photos are being taken. If you intend to use photos with other people in the photo for promotional reasons, you will need a photo release. I will have blank copies that can be filled out during the session
